Our normal day for garbage pickup is TUESDAY. Recycling and bulk is every other WEDNESDAY. For a list of pickup times refer to the City of Jax website. Yard clippings are picked up every WEDNESDAY. Your garbage and recycle cans are to be placed at curbside on MONDAY EVENINGS and are to be placed out of sight no later than the EVENING trash has been collected that day. All garbage and recycle cans must be stored out of sight from the street during the remainder of the week. If you are going out of town for the weekend, ask your neighbor to put your cans away for you. Old fence pieces are not considered yard waste and should be put at curbside along with your other garbage on Tuesday night for bulk pick up. Lumber or old fence pieces need to be cut to a length of no longer than 4 feet.
